On Friday night, October 17th at the Plaza of Honor Dinner in front of a record 1431 patrons, Jodine Smith, the chairperson of the 2008 SaskTel Plaza of Honor Dinner, presented Saskatchewan Roughrider Club Chairman Rob Pletch with a cheque for $267,500.

This year, the Sasktel Plaza of Honor Committee honoured Tom Campana, Ted Provost and Lawrie Skolrood for their outstanding contributions to Saskatchewan Roughrider Football.

“Tonight’s dinner was a tremendous success thanks in large part to the tireless efforts of the Plaza committee,” stated Jodine Smith. “Their hard work and dedication continue to ensure that the Plaza of Honor Dinner remains one of the most prestigious events in the province.”

Smith added, “The Club would also like to thank the Plaza of Honor Dinner Sponsor, SaskTel, for their contributions in making this year’s event an enormous success.”
